This year’s ISTA Annual Congress will take place in Florida during 16-19th October 2013.

We look forward to joining many of our colleagues from around the world for what is set to be a very informative and interesting event. We are also excited to announce that the latest fluoroscopic studies on the Saiph® Knee System will be presented during the event, which provide further evidence supporting the unique characteristics of this knee and the benefits of medial rotation.

Please find below a communication from the congress Chairs, Scott A Banks, PhD and Martin W Roche, MD.

Please join us at ISTA 2013 for the premier Annual Congress focused exclusively on joint arthroplasty. We welcome delegates from clinical practice, academia and industry to meet at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida from October 16–19, 2013. The theme for the meeting is “To Measure is to Know” and we will take a critical look at topics in the technology of arthroplasty, and challenge ourselves to support our ideas, assertions and findings with rigorous, objective evidence of performance, efficacy and potential. Quantitative assessment is the basis for improving what we do, and ISTA delegates are leaders worldwide in advancing arthroplasty.

As a Society devoted to technology, we are thrilled to introduce a new presentation format for ISTA 2013. In addition to our highly regarded traditional podium sessions, we will be introducing E-posters with short talks. We believe this new format allows for an exciting update of the traditional paper poster, and the short talks will ensure high visibility and enhanced opportunities for discussion with each ISTA presenter. Approximately 25 CME hours will be available.

ISTA 2013 will convene at The Breakers in Palm Beach. Delegates will find world-class conference facilities in this Atlantic coast tropical resort famed for its Italian-Renaissance setting, outstanding amenities and abundant recreational opportunities. We sincerely hope you will consider joining us for a memorable and important scientific event that also promises to provide a great experience for our delegates and their families.

Best regards,

Martin W. Roche, MD
