Danielle de Villiers, Hip Manager (R&D) at MatOrtho, will be attending and presenting at the 35th International Congress of the International Society for Technology in Arthroplasty (ISTA), held in Nashville, Tennessee, from August 28th to 31st, 2024. This annual congress brings together surgeons, engineers, and industry professionals to explore and discuss the latest advancements in joint replacement technology.
On Friday the 30th of August at 10:39 am at Podium D/7 Danielle will present Accelerated and Real-Time Aging of Cemented Ceramic Resurfacing Heads. This presentation will discuss the work we have conducted during the development of ReCerf® to ensure the stable fixation of the heads using cement.
The same day at 5:48 pm at Kiosk 1, she will also be presenting a short talk Testing of Directly Applied Coating on Ceramic Substrates for Use in Acetabular Components which describes the testing and validation of our dual layered titanium and hydroxyapatite coating on the ceramic cup which can be used for both hip resurfacing and total hip replacement.
This represents a great opportunity for us to share insights into the extensive work we have conducted to develop our ceramic resurfacing system.
